We are a University of Waterloo spin-off, backed by the world-class research taking place at the Mike and Ophelia Lazaridis Quantum-Nano Centre and Research and Development Centre.

Meet The Team

Founder

Sushanta Mitra

Sushanta Mitra has over 20 years of R&D experience across 3 continents - Asia, Europe & North America. For his contributions to science and engineering, he has been elected a fellow of several professional organizations, including the Canadian Academy of Engineering, the Royal Society of Chemistry, the American Physical Society, the Electrochemical Society, the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a foreign fellow of both the Indian National Academy of Engineering and the National Academy of Sciences India.

As a Founder of NeuTantrix, Sushanta leads the scientific endeavor and proto-type development, based on his two granted US patents.

Co-Founder

Arpita Chatterjee

Arpita is a seasoned finance and strategy executive with over 20 years of experience leading global finance and operational functions across public, private equity, and venture-backed healthcare and life sciences companies. She has served as CFO and Board member, driving strategic growth through capital raising, M&A, and operational transformation in complex international organizations.

At Neutantrix, Arpita leads the development of the company’s strategic roadmap and financial framework, translating the scientific vision into a scalable business strategy. As a Co-founder, she works closely with the founding team to define key development milestones, structure funding pathways, and build partnerships that support the company’s long-term clinical and commercial objectives.
